Im a 21yr male and in the last couple of months ive noticed alot of hair falling out. I seem to lose 30-40 in the shower and 5-10 when styling. I know on average a person loses 100 a day but these are the ones i see and im sure there is alot more. I dont have any bald patches but you can sometimes see my scalp through the hair. I was wondering if anybody has been through something similar and how long it took for them to become bald. Also what sort of foods could slow or stop this process as i think i have a poor diet. thanks

Get the scalp checked by a doctor for any infection. Some hair fall is normal and baldness is hereditary.Prevention of hairfall seems a possible solution.Parachute hair care solution /Regain /Dabur Amala hair oil are some herbal masage hair oils.If nothing above, is available at your place massage scalp for few minutes with few drops of warm castor seed oil or coconut oil, twice daily(Morning and Evening).Leave it as such.Effect of castor seed oil and coconut oil on hair growth are proved.Do not wash away,if possible.
Avoid all tensions.Try meditation or hearing soft music.Tension increases hair fall.Take one vitamin tablet daily containing Zinc(Zevit ,if available) or ask your chemist.Do not use shampoos containing chemicals especially di-selenium sulphide.Use only herbal shapoo,if needed. There will be improvement in 6 months.
Be hopeful and positive.Good Luck

Are your father or grandfather bald? if so , ask them. Baldness is often hereditary. If you know you have a bad diet, change it anyway beacause although it may not effect your hair it WILL effect may other things eventually.

Most important, DONT WORRY ABOUT IT! Its totally normal, there's nothing you can do to stop it anyhow, and its a sign of a high testosterone level. Plus, it can be a pretty cool look and women just LOVE bald guys, believe me!

B vitamins are important for the health and growth of the hair. Foods rich in B vitamins include beans, peas, carrots, cauliflower, soy beans, nutritional yeast, bran, nuts and eggs.
