how to remove mother tongue influence while speaking english?

i want to join in internetional BPO so i want to remove my mother tongue(south Indian) influence and to know the accent of US and UK

Having an accent is nothing to be ashamed of --- it means that you are smarter than average...only bilingulal people have accent in their second language. Most people cannot even speak one language correctly.
As long as people understand you, that is good enough.
Speak slowly -and more than the accent, work on your usage of word. South Indians keep calling people Sir and Madam, most Americans don't care for it.
Watch a lot of American TV - especially programs meant for Teens and Twenties. Try to use atleast three things everyday that you have learned from TV. Make that a part of your daily vocabulary.
You will never have American accent -unless you are an actor and spend thousands of Dollars on it.

I think accents are cool. Like the other commenter said. It shows you took time to learn english. Thats the first step to integrate into a society.

To learn the american accent is not so simple. There are many different accents in American english. It depends on which part of the country you live. Here in NYC we have a nasal accent as we speak a little faster (impatience) and have shorter sounds in words when speaking.
