I have a teen-age daughter who relemtlessly clamors for money. She needs money every few minutes. She doesn't take drugs, I give her everything - even love sometimes - and invite her to participate in extended family events. Yet nothing brightens her mood like money. That's why!

Their parents-
Discipline these days stinks, parents are rarely home (working), children are being raised by daycare centers, family members, peers. Structure and discipline are out the window. And parents and teachers are quick to diagnose add/adhd and put children on medicine because they don't want to deal with the effect that the lack of parental guidance has caused.
(and I know NOT all parents are bad, this is a generalized statement)

Not so much the children, but the parents' fault, when children use bad language and the parents laugh as they think it's funny.

I heard a three year old boy doing this the other day!

Well! There are a lot of things like their obstinacy, foolishness,
clinging etc. But what I hate most is the bad treatment given to
them and I do hate the encroachment on " The Children's Rights"

Don't hate anything about children - do hate the fact that people bring them up so poorly that they have appalling manners and lack of respect - some people shouldn't be allowed to be parents.

====Things I Hate About Kids====

How good some of them (privileged kids, of course) have it & are spoilt for choice while other kids lack the luxury.

====Things I Love About Kids====

Their spontaneity in everything... finding joy in trivial pursuits that we, adults often sometimes overlook like, LIFE lol =P
Finding humor & lightness in anything/ everything.

The lack of attention from their parents. They just want to be loved and praised for things they do right and loving guidance for things they seem to do wrong. Just remember you were a child at one time.

That sickening sour-milk smell; the endless shrieking; the mindless flat-footed stomping as they endlessly run the perimeter of whatever room they are in; the messes they make, as well as how quickly they make them; their destructive capabilities; and, did I mention the smell and the noise?

Why in God's name don't parents keep them at home, where we don't have to see or hear them? I mean, please!!

The fact that they go all stringy like chicken when you put them in a stew or casserole.

I find deep frying them is the best way to enjoy them !
