I'm a Golden Retriever fan. We have 2, Dusty and Duke. We got them both from Animal Rescue Groups. Spaniels are very pretty dogs, too, but I like big dogs. And between our two, we have almost 200 opiunds of dog in the house. They're happy, smiley, playful, snuggly dogs and I just love them to death. Their picture is my avatar.

I prefer any mongrel dog to a pedigree. my reason for this follows.
A neighbour of ours bought a pedigree dog for his son and at first the lad was timid around the pup (which was quite large) but the boy grew in confidence with the dogs help. They became best of friends but after only six months the poor dog died. I learned later that it was a congential problem. That lad was distressed for a long time but we moved away, I don't know how the boy is doing now.
My mongrel is sixteen years old this year, she is coming near the end of her life.

Labradors. I have never seen a Labrador without a wonderful, loving nature. Not too many without a weight problem - but that is the only real negative.

Personally i like the dog of my neighbour because i play with it for sometime the reasons are because am allergic to dogs.

Have a wolf-Shepard mix best dog in the world. She is our baby!! Loyal SMART funny [she has a sense of humor and laughs] And she minds better than my husband!
