Writing in upper caps means shouting or yelling over the Internet. On the other hand, writing in slow caps represents normal tone of voice while chatting with anybody. Writing in small caps is considered a writing etiquette for online chatting and also causes no problems. So, be careful to not to use upper caps as it will just turn people off and they just wouldn't talk or chat anymore with you. Goodluck!

capitalization is sometimes used for specific words for emphasis, since a lot of text editors in web windows don't allow special formatting or characters. we can't all use myspace for everything.
but if someone over-emphasizes every word, as in using capitalization for every word, then the effect of the emphasis is lost, and it becomes annoying, since it is slightly more difficult to read anyway.
some people who are posting on websites use all caps when they are, in their own minds or offices, shouting the idea that they are writing. everyone does it because IT'S NATURAL!!!

Bacause it's EMPHASIZED.
Just like you were talking and put more emphasis into your speech when you're angry or excited.

when writing capatals are used to draw attention to a particualer word or sentence.
its like so u stress it when u say it, and a way to stress things is to say them louder.
so it has sort of become like shouting. well thats wat i think anyway!
