Yes. He'll be know for starting the "War on Terror" (at this rate, he won't finish it), being the pres. on 9\11, starting the war in Afgan. to take out the Taliban/al Quidea (The one good decision he's ever made), starting a useless and needless war in Iraq, Doing nothing during Katrina, and be known by winning his first and second election by one and two percent, and just for guessing 2+2=1 (a.k.a for being the dumbest pres. yet).

You must not knoiw your history very well. George Washington had low popular support because of the Revoluntionary War - as did Abe Lincoln who was unpop[ular for the Civil War. Harry Truman was considered a failure back in the 1940s - but now he is looked upon as being a great president.
George Bush has led us through some very hard times since 9/11. Why are we willing to forget so quickly. It is a shame that people are more concerned about the American Idol and not our troops in Irag.

NO.... George Bush is the only president in the whole world who has enough balls to defeat terrorism and no suprise, most of the people view it negatively, specially people who are NOT affected by terrorism... I think George Bush is 100% correct... If you don't defeat terrorism now, it will be spreaded to the whole world as a cancer... If you can't beat them, you might as well CONTROL them... I wish all the best to the presidnt George Bush.....

No president in our modern era has attempted to solve so many politically unpopular problems: terrorism, social security reform, and immigration. No matter what approach you take to solve any of these problems, activist groups along with their allies in the liberal media would be set to villify anyone who tried to solve these difficult issue.
I think his legacy much later will be that he had the courage to tackle these issues that were ignored by all presidents since the 1960s.

He'll certainly be somewhere near the bottom of the list. Worst ever? That's hard to say.
Edit: Pointless war, shady elections, trampled rights, and a tiny bit of quickly squandered post-911 good will shall be his legacy.

I think in time, maybe years from now, you will find that George Bush made many tough decisions that help to keep this nation as our forefathers had envisioned. He will go down in history as one of most bold and toughest preisdents ever! Love him or hate him you have to admit that he has made decisions that no democrat would have ever dared to make. Bush will be remember as a truly great leadr in my opinion. Second only to Ronald Reagan.

History shall not be kind to this weasel.
His legacy is social and political repression and a war without end.

You are so young. Bush has been a fairly good president. You don't remember Ford or Carter?

He'll go down in history as the incompetent idiot he is.
If there is any justice, his several severe violations of the US Constitution will be remembered also.
