try this site I suggest and get with other lift kit users ,it's the same kit for a 4x4,Thats what I did myself .
I put a kit on my 93 dakota 2wl drive 4yrs ago (2" body lift).but what you need to do to prep yours for a lift may be different .
Just in case you go on without instructions (before unbolting cab and front clip which must be done together and lifted equally from both sides and the same with lifting the bed )>>>
Generaly the rule to follow is to disconnect the battery, transmission linkage rod to shifter, steering shaft to steering box rubber joint ,ground straps connecting engine to body ground (body will be 3"higher may need longer ground straps),radiator shroud to fan must be unbolted and removed (the radiator will be 3"higher up shroud will need to be modified to allow fan to turn or buy a new custom made to fit shroud) an alternate would be an electric fan mounted to the radiator on engine side with the factory shroud (you add in a self contained (temperature sensor fan relay kit for about $25.00 to power the fan available at most auto parts stores ).this would allow the elimination of a mechanical fan giving a small increase in engine power due to less drag .Also this will change the air intake system position (body goes up and may require the air filter system location to be modified to refit ).
As for the bed dissconnect the harness for the tail lights and license plate lights; and fuel tank filler tube where it bolts to the body at the gas cap (hand tools preffered) and do not remove cap while unbolting ("use of power tools could spark and ignite gas fumes") . the filler tube or hose may need to be longer to make up the 3" body rise .
That pretty much covers it in general .
