click on start->run-> type msconfig
go to startup
uncheck yahoo messenger
it will ask to restart..click on yes
u wont see it at startup anymore

It's in your startup , there are 2 options, one is to run MSCONFIG and go to the startup tab and uncheck the yahoo messenger program. Or in the yahoo messenger program itself, there is an option under the preferences that says Automatically run at startup or such, uncheck that.

Click the messenger menu and click Preferences then click General. Uncheck the "automatically start my Yahoo! Messenger". That should solve your problem :-)

Just remove the messnager from start up simple. just clcik on start and then run and type msconfig and there you will find startup just click on which software you dont want in startup and then apply and restart simple.

go into preferneces and turn off start with windows
