Most major cities have Daily Labor companies like ManPower and LaborReady. These companies typically pay at the end of the work day. The pay rate isn't great and often depends on the assigment, but it is legal work paid daily.
Or you could become a Direct Marketer and make daily cash from retail sales and develop a residual income stream. This is a career choice, not a job. It requires a little more dedication and motivation but the rewards are far greater.

i sold plasma in college. it wasn't daily, it was weekly, but it helped pay a few bills each month and it was just sitting there for about 1-2 hours while they collected my plasma!
you could deliver pizzas, wait tables....they get tips on a daily basis.
