It means a normal vaginal birth, and you did not need any drugs to start labour. I had this with both my daughters and they where both a month pre-mature, and where born healthy.

I had normal spontaneous delivery with my first daughter. My OB didnt give me anything to induce. Normal spontaneous delivery means that you will give birth thru your vagina with out any pain reliever and etc. Let the child get out by itself in the right time. You will go with pain and push to make it easier. it was hard at first because the labor was terrible but you can feel how to be a mother after all and of course, the heavenly feeling when you see and hear your baby crying. I think normal delivery is very wonderful.

Um, yeah. A NSD as you put it would be when the baby decides to release oxytosin (mis-spelled) into your blood stream thus causes the uterus to contract. Also it is managing your own birth. No doctor on earth should claim the honour of delivery as this is the woman's. He merely catches lol.
