With over 31 million Americans currently looking for work, there are NO specializations, credentials or anything else the US is short of. Get a PhD? LOL! Only one-third of Americans who hold PhD's ever find a job in their field which actually requires a PhD! US has had a glut of PhD's in most fields for about 30 years. So that is not going to go away. Working construction, IT? The US has too many of those as well. Job experience will not qualify you for visa anyway - need education + experience for temporary visa. If you were thinking of staying permanently in US, you need a US citizen-sponsor who is an immediate blood relative and who earns enough to support you.

no , marrying an american will not do it for you,you will have to apply for an Immigrant visa , then move to the U.S., live here for 5 years and then you are eligible to apply for citizenship.
Marrying an american just cuts down the 5 year waiting period to 3 years.
A green card you will get when you immigrate into the country and they stamp your passport ,saying you are allowed to work in the country.Once you go thru immigration at the airport, they do all the papers for your green card and you get the card in the mail.

You probably have 2 options and they will both take at least a month or two minimum to process.
1. Work Visa first.....This requires you to have a job before coming to the US.
2. Get married....Know an American girl??Well, start looking for one if you wanna go to the US quick.
Either way, you'll have to go through the US Embassy. I suggest you give your local Embassy a call and ask them for advice. In the meantime, browse this website. It is helpful.

Marry someone from America is the quickest way, but if it isn't a legimate marriage and the BCIS finds out, you will have more problems then you really want.
Only other way is through a lottery, but that certainly is not quick.
The process after marriage is very time consuming, my now ex and I went through it.

Marry an American, or if you have close relatives here they can petition for you or an employer, but these ways take a lot longer, years and you should consult an immigration law attorney they can fill you in on your options and the laws
