I'm an american, but of Irish decent, so I'm interested in this debate, but I do not have first hand knowledge.
Looking into Irish history and mythology you do see that the northern counties and the southern counties are two distinctly different groups.
It would be nice to see a unified Ireland, but at this point you would have to displace a sizable chunk of the population to ever have a chance at peace.
I don't know the answer, but if you do, let me know.

Only if they have nothing better to do.
Listen, as an Irishman I can tell you that Sinn Fein are not the answer to the problems.
Leave it to the Irish and British Governments.
Sinn Fein, Loyalists, etc., have vested interests.

No because they are connected to bad things / people... I'm Irish and I'm 26 and living in Dublin. I'm sick of this sh*t who cares about 6 counties let them keep it theres more important things to be worrying about but all we here is Gerry Adams this and that, Ian Paisley, UFF, UVF, IRA, SDLP who gives a F*** give it up man and just let it go.
They will never let go of those 6 counties, especially with people like Ian Paisley in their corner, I don't know how that chap got ordained to be a priest in the first place such an evil man, and with the Royals still in power...
PEACE FOR PEACE, NOT WAR FOR PEACE !!!!!!
