It would work but the result wouldn't be faster than running it on Win XP. Also, I tried doing the samee thing with my computer and it was a pain to set up.

Windows 98 is a 16/32 bit program. Windows XP Pro is available in 64-bit. All processors being made today are 64-bit. Windows XP Pro 64 is the first 64-bit operating system. All dual-core processors are 64-bit, therefore, if you want to continue to use Windows 98, which has no support, you can but, it will only run at a top speed of 16 or 32 bit. Don't feel bad, everyone right now has Windows XP is running at 32-bit also. The 64-bit version just became available recently. All other computer programs are also 32-bit, but that will be changing soon because of the 64-bit processor. I do have a dual-core AMD Athlon 3800+ X2 and cannot tell the difference, yet, until I upgrade to a 64-bit O.S. I will not see a difference other than in the multi-tasking area. You can have a lot of windows open and working on something in each one with hardly any loss in speed.

Yes, you can use it. But if you want to get good experience (FAST RUNNING SYSTEM). You have to use Windows XP. I have a very good experience with XP.

Yes you can use it. But it won't run fast. I'll run as a Pentium-3 computer.
