i might go to the nail salon and i dont know what to get

Depends on the type of your own nails. If they are healthy and strong, there is no need to get acrylic ones, the gel works just fine. But if you are not satisfied with the way your nails look, or you want them longer. go for the acrylic ones.

1. Make sure the place you choose are good about sterilization of nail utensils.
2. Get gel because they are more natural, won't yellow, and like acrylic can be applied over your own nails or tips.

Gel nails...acrylic ruins you're nail bits and makes your nail ridged.

Gel nails are hot. That's what I get. They turn out really nice.

I would get gel because they are softer and easier on your real nails. You should also take them off (DON'T peel them, soak them off) in between every 3rd and 4th visit to let your real nails breathe. Good luck :)
