There are a few reasons.

First, and this one is relatively normal – is that no mater how long you have been dating, your boyfriend has been having a relationship with his hand for even longer. It is a strong relationship, they get along well, he doesn’t have to buy his hand dinner, and he doesn’t have to make sure that his hand is satisfied.
