Some people just cannot be happy for others. Seeing other folk with something they want, but cannot or do not have, just makes them envious, rather than happy that these things can and do happen. They can't even take pleasure from the fact that, if you two found happiness, so might they one day. Such people don't like anyone else being more happy than them, so they will do what they can to reduce your happiness down to the level of theirs. These people usually have low self esteem and low expectations for themselves, and the only way that they can make themselves feel better is by bringing others down.
So, don't worry about them, don't let their jealousy spoil your happiness. There is enough sadness in the world without adding to it. Be as happy as you are, it spreads around and is infectious you know - it energizes. Even if the jealous ones don't appreciate it, others will.
And, I just wanted to say, it made me happy to hear of a couple who are so happy and in love, and I wish you both all the best, and a wonderful wedding and wonderful life together. It is folk like you that make me think there is such a thing as 'happy ever after' and that some parts of fairy tales are true!

People are more envious than jealous, because what you've got is so good. Envy and jeaousy comes hand in hand, like love and hate. With the pressures of society and the way that relationships are heading, its nice to hear there are some great ones out there.
Some people will see you happy and not like it because they haven't got it , so they will try and rain on your parade by trying to get in between you both or by spreading rumours etc...
I was with my ex for 6 and a half years. We get on better now we're not together but people don't understand it. We still care for each other, get on and have happy lives. Don't let it bother you. As long as you are both happy, thats all you've got to worry about. I hope all goes well with the wedding. Good luck xx

Jealous? Who's jealous? Well, some people don't like good things and some get fraustrated when their's is not working out. So, you 'dn't blame them, its their nature and the more they get jealous of others, the more their situation gets worse.
Keep it up anyway and try to maintain that relationship. It's good to argue once in a while thou ( 10 months or less) so you can understand each other better, and know your strengths and weaknesses.

people are not jeolous they just happy for you coz they have not been in a relationship as long as you have. i have been going out with a guy for three years and five months he is my first love and we dont fight we planing on getting married end of the year.

I have the same problem. People are jealous because they are having so many problems in their own life's that it makes it hard for them to be happy for you. Simply because they wish they were that happy. Just do not rise to their jealousy, just smile at them and thank your lucky stars that you are not them.
