this error report comes up when i closed down?

I believe it's indicating a damaged part of your hard drive.

I would conduct a defragmentation of the drive.

Ideally back up your data and then re-format your hard-drive and start again. Timely but effective.

I had the same error message this AM, and it took me a few tries to get into the boot menu, when I chose 'Last know good configuration-that worked' it booted inot Windows and I'm running McAfee's scann now. I'll let you know what it finds. Unfortunately I think this virus caught me just between a de-install of Norton and new install of McAfee. Hopefully McAfee works. Otherwise I'll have to install Kaspersky.

not a clue. i get that and it really pecks head. i guess it may be the age of the computer, i have never had it on my laptop, which is 18 months old and i get it quite a lot on my computer, which is 4 years old

try a new computer

i am doing that if i can convince parents to hand the cash over lol

what closed down?
maybe shutdown?

it couldbe a bad sector or bad spot at your RAM..
or, a corrupt data..

try run scandisk or chkdsk..
if still not work, re install the application or operating system..
if it isnt work try remove or change your RAM..
