Well,
1. They could have married to move or better life.(some asian countries are still considered 3rd world)
2. Maybe they like american/american culture over people in their country.
3. Citizenship?
4. Better life?
5. Greed?
6. For purpose of supporting family back in asia.

Sole purpose to move to US? American as in Caucasian American, or Asian American. I'm an American, but I'm not Caucasian...
I would say for love, who cares who you marry (same or opposite gender), as long as you're both happy. If you marry for an ulterior motive, it doesn't matter who you marry, you're marrying for the wrong purpose, so it's wrong.
So, in short, yes, you're either a jerkoff or a whore.

If I were an Asian and could get out of the jungle by marrying the first yank that came along...I would too. American girls have been known to get married for money too.

Well, that's a little broad. Japan, China, Okinawa are doing well for themselves and wouldn't marry an American just to come to the states. However, girls in the Philippines, Vietnam and other smaller countries with low country monetary value would.

its OK you cant really limit an emotion like love my dad [American]married my step mom [Asian] and throw their language problems her home Sickens financial trouble it all worked out but that is one side i be live its OK as long as they stick throw it just for the purpose of moving to the us is wrong and yes it happens but there are thous Americans how move to other lands to so in it all both sides can do it for the wrong reasons but some for the right

I'm from the Philippines and my BF is an american. I'm not marrying him for the purpose of coming to the US. I've been there several times and I paid for my own expenses.

Just take a look at couples along the west coast of the US and Canada - you can't swing a dead cat without hitting an Asian/White couple, and they seem just as fine and miserable as the rest of us.
