I am not talking about the X-File like trainwreck that was recently attempted with Charlize Theron's boyfriend, but the campy drama/horror with the manipulative reporter who scams and charms his way into and out of situations that exasperates his boss to no end? Also, who would you cast as the boss?

Well thinking about how he acted, you would have to thnk who would play his part. Then you have to think, how would they make it. Would it be like it was, or would they make it more up to date, with more speacial affects.

Now the boss would have to be some itialian guy. First I was thinking about the guy who played in taxi, the boss, but he is too short. Then I was thinking about Joe Peci, he is also too short. The other one I was thnking about, isSAVINO(sp)

But Kolchak, that's another one I'm trying to think who could play him right. He was funny, stupid, trying to charm the women, did get out of scraps, and serious all at the same time. Thinking about who would do his character justice. Someone who could play a guy who was down on his luck and still be good at it, make it believeable. He would have to be around 30 or 40 years old. I can't come up with any one. The ones I think about are either too old or dead. There are some good actors now, but I am trying to come uup with a face that would fill the part, and can't. Jack Nickelson would also make a good boss. Now maybe Tommy Lee Jones would make a good Kolchak. Rough, can be nice, and he played in the movies with Will Smith. Some one who could pull the part off right. Maybe even Harrison Ford.

Hope this helps, but it is my opinion, and someone might have another idea for you. Good luck with this.

Owen Wilson could do an awsome Carl Kolchak. A funny/serious type. I hope they bring the series back because I loved it before they went and canceled it. Silly people anyhow.

Only Jim Carey could pull this role off. And his boss, possibly
WIlliam Shatner or Rutger Hauer. Just think of the acting ability of these guys, it would be worth seeing.

You'd want an unknown in the lead role. These big name stars would overshadow this series!
