I had a miscarriage a week ago at 6 weeks and 2 days. Before leaving the clinic, my ob/gyn told me that most women are fertile after a miscarriage because the reproductive organs functions a lot better. Also because of the hormones. I don't know, but I hope that she's right.

It means that you are more likely to get pregnant again. However becoming pregnant right after a miscarriage isn't the smartest thing to do. You need to let your body heal for about 2 cycles after the miscarriage occured.

It means the hormones that make you fertile are still elevated from having been pregnant (and having the sudden *end* of the pregnancy--as opposed to having given birth).

this means that you can get pregnant easily after a miscarriage. you body releases another egg and you go thru the same process as before you had miscarrage. be careful if you are active(sexually)
