it depends. what is that removeable drive?
if it's a cd-r or dvd-r you can not erase anything from it.

If you know the file name, go to "SEARCH" Enter the filename & have all files & folders searched on Drive C.
When the list is found check over everything that comes up and doubly make sure that you want to remove it. If so, Click with your mouse on the File (left click) and have it removed to your Norton Recycle Bin.

many times it happens that you get cyclic redundancy error, which pertains to hardware, so i guess in that case your removable drive disk might be corrupt. Or the file might be running in the background. Try it on some other PC .. might just work..
