i love the smell of a new showroom car. what makes it smell so good? any idea?

I've bought a new car recently and it still smells :( . The smell comes from plastic, and adhesives used. An air freshener helps.

It's the vinyl plasticizers that are evaporating off the plastic as it gets older and dried out. That's why it eventually goes away.
