Of course girls check out guys! My friends and I would call it window shopping, and you would not believe the things we would talk about. I would go into it but I might break the Guidelines. Anyways to answer the second part of your question, since women are usually looking when a man takes off his shirt we see it as an open invitation to basically stare. It also could be that that is the only time that you are aware of yourself and what others are thinking about you. So I guess you could chalk it up your self-confidence or "male oblivion". Hope this gives you a look into the World of Women. lol.

Well, some guys do notice but the bottom line is, we know you are there, we are looking, we are listening but you just can't see.

Interesting question ! u see, as a rule, guys hav a narrow peripherical vision, which means they can concentrate looking what's right in front of them. so to check out a girl passing them by, they rotate heads 180 degrees. whereas girls hav a wider vision peripheri, which means girls do check guys out, but from the corner of their eye. they need not turn their heads. the male was made to check out different potential female species to continue their race.
