I love the Beach Boys! I grew up listening to them (my parents listened to them all the time). My favorite song from them is "Vegetables"! I heard it at a Drake Bell concert & fell in love. I definitely recommend checking it out if you are a fan. Here are some facts about the song:
Paul McCartney was in the studio when Brian Wilson was mixing this song - you can hear him in the background munching on celery.
Wilson wrote this when he was struggling with the hallucinogenic drug LSD, which can cause a childlike regression over time.

Legends...first band to experiment with building up many layers ona song. I think 'Good Vibrations' held the record for quite a while. Something like 80 individually recorded tracks stacked on top of each other....sounds awesome too

I love the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson did a couple of concerts in the UK last year, and he still sounded great. What a songwriter! My favourite track has to be Californian Girls.

They're great, they truly pioneered a new genre of music. To me they are one of those bands that you hear and it is American as apple pie. When I hear "I Get Around" I think of that scene in the movie "Three Kings" when it plays and they are racing across the desert; great music casting.
