You get rid of all the balance on our planet! It would mess up the ecosystem and the food chain therefore all the living creatures on Earth, including people. Everything effects everything else. I imagine that they weather would go crazy or at least not function like we know it. The domino effect would go out of control. Unless, our planet could find another way of keeping the balance we are all screwed.

Kidding aside, without salt from water, we'd be reduced to scraping the sweat from our skin and ingesting it to keep up our body's sodium levels. Or would sweat be included as "saltwater"? Oh no - there goes Gatorade as well!

quiet a lot will happen.....
1) the ships have to carry less or will sink
2) the hot and cold currents will change with that global climatic change
3) the sea wont be salty
4) the flora and fauna of sea will change
5) fresh water supports lot of oxygen consuming plants and will eat away the co2 and o2 from our planet

if you wish to destroy entire life cycle from earth you can dream it to happen. you know sea constitute about 80% of our earth surface area and if you have such a wish, means no seas.
No seas means no seasons. End of thousands of speices of plants and sea animals.
