Love is a strong word to use. Although I have felt love, and never went out with the person, it is possible. Ask yourself--true love? If it is ask your friend, if she is your best friend tell her exactly what you feel. If she understands then problem solved. No, is what is hard. You should then talk to "the man of your dreams" (or whatever his name might be) and tell him your feelings. If he has the same feelings you must tell him you situation on how you aren't given the permission from your best friend. Tell him to keep me in mind maybe as time goes by she will change her mind. Or go back to her and tell her how much you care for him and he feels the same way. Just dont go behind her back because she will find out some how, since you will want to tralk about him and such. Oh yes another thing if you do go out don't tell her the details it might make her upset.

Wow thats a painful area of go by. merely make effective you do not develop into 2 cool with the different chick. BFF appears mature in the full project. yet you may't end your existence once you had no longer some thing to do with the project....

Yes, you should go on the date.. but before going you should make it very clear who was wrong between your friend and her ex boyfriend.. and do remember do tell your friend that you are going on date with her ex-boyfriend. this will might hurt her on the first but will increase her confidence on your and she can even help you out if founding the way to be nicer to him..

just go out wif him , who cares , if she starts fighting with you well you can tell her what's the point she broke up wif him or got dumped but still it's not your fault and it's not like she owns him or you for that matter and anyways you guys will make peace one day after that and if you don't then maybe you wern't ment to be bestfriends and you'll find a new one....good luck......

No Way! It will be very arkward for you and your best friend. That happened to me once. My best friend dated my ex boyfreind. I was angy at her for a long time. She knew I still kinda liked him. She brought him around all the time. It was a mess! So, please don't do that to your buddy. Even if she says its okay. Because, deep down, its really not okay. You know?

You need to ask her. Best friends communicate with eachother.
If she's through with him, and she cares about you... it'll be fine with her.
If you don't ask her, almost guaranteed you'll lose her and the strain will also kill your relationship with him.

gotta be up front with your friends. Ask her if its cool and if she says no, well, if she's a really good friend, respect her wishes.
