As you ask in the science category: No, not in the scientific world.
There is no scientific theory that needs a god to explain something, and no evidence for the existence of a god is found in any experiment.
I know that there are religious scientists, but they differ between their religion and their work. Religion can't be a part of science, because we have strict rules about scientific work. Experiments must be reproducible and theories have to be falsifiable: Religion doesn't fit both criteria, that's the difference between
deductive logic and pure belief whithout asking.
Although in America creationists currently have a come back in disguise as pseudo-scientific intelligent design, this is not a scientific theory and just an USA related problem with christian fundamentalism and the education system.

That is a question of faith. Everyone has their own level of faith, and their own belief. You can not get the same answer from anyone, or you can not say some one is wrong, even though according to your belief it is wrong.
According to my belief, there is only one God. It is a major sin to associate other gods with this God.
For those who believe there is no God, look at yourself, look at how perfect your creation is - the creation of mankind. Do you expect all this to be an accident, or a coincidence? I dont think so. Look at everything around, anything you name is just perfect. The bees dont make honey because of a coincidence. Cows giving milk is not a coincidence. There is a creator behind all this. And that creator is your God, my God, THE GOD.
Some people say there is more than one God. They say there are many Gods on earth that they worship, like statues, but there is one God up there somewhere in the sky. They worship many Gods because they can not be in contact with the one big god up there, so they use the small gods as messengers. Well, first of all, The God is so Powerful that he does not need small Gods to bring to him messages we send. He has the power to recieve our prayers. by doing this we are showing that god does not have enough power, yet he is the most Powerful. And anyway, do you think that these gods made of stone are stronger than our heart, meaning can these stones come in contact with god yet we cant? I dont think so.
So, there is only one God, and not many Gods.
Please, no one should take offense because of anything i wrote in my answer, this is just my faith, my religion, and my way of looking at things - this is what i believe. and everyone has a right to their own belief

God denotes the deity believed by monotheists to be the sole creator and ruler of the universe. Conceptions of God can vary widely, despite the use of the same term for them all.
The God of monotheism, pantheism or panentheism, or the supreme deity of henotheistic religions, may be conceived of in various degrees of abstraction: as a powerful, human-like, supernatural being, or as the deification of an esoteric, mystical or philosophical category, the Ultimate, the summum bonum, the Absolute Infinite, the Transcendent, or Existence or Being itself, the ground of being, the monistic substrate, that which we cannot understand, etc. The more abstract of these positions regard any anthropomorphic mythology and iconography associated with God either sympathetically as mere symbolism, or unfavourably as blasphemous.
Theologians and philosophers have studied countless conceptions of God since the dawn of civilization. The question of the existence of God classically falls under the branch of philosophy known as metaphysics, but is also one of the key discussions taking place within the field of the philosophy of religion.

There is no such thing as god in any form period. God is an imaginary concept created to answer questions for which the populace lacks the knowledge to explain. The idea of god works best when the populace is uneducated, which is why the pope dispatched agents to destroy Gutenberg's press. Gutenberg's first printing project was the bible as it existed at that time. He knew that having it would reduce the power of the clergy. Religion has always been about power over people for political gain.

I think there is a GOD , but each person must think for them-self. To truly believe can be hard. I know sometimes he seems to be cruel other times not there when you need him. In my life with all I've gone through for me there is a GOD. He has answer every prayer, maybe not right away but in time. So your answer is do you believe? Good luck and God bless.

God is what you make it. Religions is a theory about why things are the way they are--meant to give purpose to people's lives. God is like a concept of goodness and doing what is right. Be good and be happy and that is what God is!

The idea of gods has been attempts by man to explain his existance.Hence there are philosophies and religions.
However all of us realize that we all have in common is One Creator of the Life we have. This is a scientificaly implied proof.
