Thats assuming it's like in the guys toilet where the urinals are placed next to each other without cubicles.

There used to be a web site all about female urinals, but it disappeared a few years ago. The site also gave instructions to girls on how to pee standing up. I have yet seen any of the urinals (other than in pictures) and I can’t imagine that they would go over very well, but I did read the instructions on, and learned to pee standing up (it takes practice) – and that has come in handy on several occasions. Think about camping.

Read an article recently that a public toilet for both ladies and guys was setup in some part of China.
There is only one urinal inside, that has been designed to be usable by both sexes.
The article also mentioned that it was more popular among the female then the male.

No, that is not a viable solution.

Instead -- and thanks to Mr Jack Sim, founder of the Restroom Association of Singapore (RAS) and the World Toilet Organisation (WTO) for first suggesting this in 2004 -- there needs to be more female toilets available for women.

World Toilet Day is 20 November. Be sure to get your toilet some flowers on this day :)

No way! I think most women are way too shy to just whip it out in front of the other ladies, especially because women are a bazillion times more judgmental. I don't even like hottubbing with my girlfriends.

depends. there are some public toilets we don't even want to think of actually sitting on...but they would need at least a partial partition.
