be sure you log i as usual, and not anothr acconut windows is runing on, how many people have access to the computer , thirdly hope there is current Antivirus in your PC, if you know the name of one of the file just try to search for it , then you can get all other ones too, likely a particular acconut is deleted and windows may moved the files to a folder on the screen or depend on where the user decide to keep the files,

i think u not save proper u files or u save in othere location. if u want see ur files check on from start c:/. or may be ur pc virus efected.

Full Virus Scan is the only deal that you can perform with your COMPUTER.....
