No, steroids(IF he used them and no drug test has proven it) doesn't improve hand eye corridnation. Steroids DOESN'T give you muscles. It allows you to work out more and EARN those Muscles. Steroids don't hit balls, people hit balls. They can't improve your batting stance, they can't make the ball easier to hit. Babe Ruth did it by having a ballpark where the fences were moved in. Why do we never go to a tale of the tape(measure)? It is harder to hit Homeruns in San Fran then it was for Ruth. So whine all you want but truth is Barry Bonds is better.

First of all you can't say steroids hasn't helped him... They may not directly affect how far you hit the ball, but they do affect how a 41 year old works out and recovers from a work out.. and that affects how far he can hit the ball... second Bonds doesn't deserve to be treated badly for what he's accomplished... Big Mac was on the juice and everyone loved him... Bonds deserves to be treated badly because he's been a jerk to the media and fans over the course of his whole career. That's why nobody wants him to do well... he's not that likable.

I think people should wait until he actually tests positive for steroids then if that happens then I don't think he deserves anything. That would be cheating and it would be such a disrespect to baseball to have threatened the records of so many great players by cheating.Until he tests positive though I think people should give him the credit he deserves. They don't have to like him as a person but they should just acknowledge that it is not easy to do what he does and with steroids or not he is one of the best players to ever play the game.

I think the booing is fine. He gets paid millions. The throwing stuff on the field and the alleged threats to his family are way out of line, and these people really need to get a life. Personally, I recognize his accomplishments, because he's never tested positive, PLUS, like someone else said, steroids don't necessarily help you hit for power anyway.

Why do they take them? Who knows why. It may be just to give them a mental edge. Don't care, because in this country, we shouldn't convict someone if they've never been found guilty.

Ban the loser from baseball! He has cheated by using steroids. Look at him this year, he has shrunk in size again.

Pete Rose, the all-time hits leader got banned for gambling. He didn't impact the game, he just gambled. Bonds is cheating!

No, steriods dont make you hit further... I've been on steriods and all they do is make you work out harder and give you more aggression.

Steriods are just testosterone boosters, they make you more 'Up for it'... I think that man deserves everything he's got. People are only using it against him because they are jealous that they havent got him on their teams. He gives the team a lot more apart from the odd home run.

I don't think he should be treated badly, but I don't think he should be recognized for his accomplishments...if steroids doesn't help you hit a ball farther, then why take them? And why is it everyone who has been accused of taking performing enhancement drugs hit a lot of homeruns? lol

i am told that ghb makes the time you need to heal after an injury or workout much reduced. if you look at him so far this year, either he has aged 5 years in one season, or he misses his GHB.
He should have an * after his records at least.
