If we talk about Evolution Theory, a number of them have been formulated till now, for instance, by Lean Bapist Lamark, by Charles Robert Darwin, by Earnest Hackel, by Hugos de Veries....
But in general, the probable evidences, which might have stimulated these gentlemen to formulate their Evolution Theory are,
1) Fossils - Missing links, and connecting links
2) Homologous organs
3) Analogous organs
4) Vestigial organs
5) Embryology

And apart from these, we can take into consideration, "Physiology ".

I don’t understand why Yahoo has this feature. Looking through the questions, it is easy to see that they fall into a few categories. A great many look like homework questions that students are too lazy to research on their own. Some more are of the somewhat humorous, “imponderables” type. Others still are just flame bait designed to provoke a heated, angry exchange. This one manages to combine both the lazy student & the troll.

Those who answer are also of a few types. When it comes to evolution, that is a key word that beckons to religious fanatics to immediately attack. These persons do not hesitate to expound quite confidently on a subject that they do not understand. Sometimes there is a response that hints at some knowledge of biology but those are rare. If you are looking for homework answers beware; you will reap as your effort sows.

You will find only two or three observations that support evolution in the answers posted so far. Read your textbook, not one approved by the Kansas school board hopefully. Read your lecture notes, or get them from someone who went to class and took notes.

Extinction proves that survival of the fittest is natures law and evolution shows those who survived.

Reptiles and Ambhibians are the oldest species as they still live on water and on land.

Five evidences would be naming living animals. But after a 100 years or a 1000 yrs, wen fish become extinct, our next generation would ask, how can u prove fish existed.

Acheology is the evidence and the only true evidence any1 can report.

From dinosaurs to bushmen, the studies prove the evolution theory.

1. The fact that in the womb you, I and every other human went through the stages our pre-historic ancestors did

2. The fact that doctors are constantly discussing prescribing antibiotics less, because diseases get stronger as the weaker are weeded out (in other words, disease evolve)

3. The fact that you, I and all humans have 98+% similar DNA to other primates

4. The fact that dinosaur skeletons are buried in the earth beneath us

5. The fact that our ancestors used primitive tools, but today we have much better tools

(bonus) 6. The fact that Christianity (and all other mythologies) are dying, and like all things dying, trashes out violently in a desperate attempt to survive.
