Dear friend,
First confirm that your computer goes to turn off automatically having a problem of power supply or other problem in your computer hardware.
Here is some answer for auto turn off PC:
**1) If Computer CPU was over clocked then also your PC turn automatically.
**2) Your RAM was not working with proper clock rate then also your PC goes to turn off automatically.
**3) If you have addon Display card & your display card not properly fit in to PCI slot then also PC goes to turn automatically.
**4) If your PC shows wrong Time & Motherboard battary goes empty then you having problem with wrong system time & your PC goes auto off.
**5) In your COM, CD-ROM or others Data cables not fit with actual direction or right way also having problem.
All this problem probebly having in PC for automatically turn off or automaticall restart PC.

Power supplies are super cheap. Unless you have a great electronics background the effort isn't worth it.
If you do have such knowledge, check that the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply are not bowed up on the top.
Any that are will need to be replaced.
Also look for electrolyte leakage near the bottom of the capacitors. Caps that are leaking need replacing too. This is the most common power supply "works sometimes but not others" failure. In general though, I say replace the power supply to be sure that this is actually the fault.
I know that AT class power supplies are very hard to find now, but surplus places will sometimes have them cheap, or maybe you can find one in an old discarded system or surplus system.
I believe there also may be ATX to AT conversion cables available on the web.

If you have a system that still uses an AT powersupply it will probley cost about the same to buy a used computer that is higher end then the one you have as it would be to buy a new AT powersupply if you can even find one.
