Doubt it the actress was from California and born in 1910 so there is a slight chance I suppose that she was on it but highly unlikely in my opinion and Rose was a character created for the movie

Molly Brown wasn't the only Titanic survivor alive in 1997. Milvena Dean is still alive today; she was a baby on the Titanic and is not an actress. Gloria Stuart was not on the real Titanic.

She maybe one the them or a representative or she may just be a fiction.. But that doesn't matter anymore right? The show itself is touching and tear-shedding.. It is worthwhile to have such a character to let us know a story once may/may not happened on Titanic.
