your belly doesnt grow fast enough at the start and by 8 months when everyone is asking when you are due like you wanted them to do at t start ur too fed up to care bout having a bump and just want ur baby out. treasure this time though as it is special and in hindsight doesnt last long enough just keep in your head you have a special secret that no one else can see. By about 20 wks you will feel little flutterings that will give you a wamr cosy feeling and reassure you your baby is doing great

Depends on how many times you have been pregnant. My first one I was almost 18 weeks (I was young) Second baby it took a while to, but he was 9 years later, my third was showing with in 6 weeks ( I couldn't button my pants) he was only 18 months after his brother.
But do not worry, if you eat right you will get a tummy before you know it. By the way did you look in a book to see how tiny your baby is right now? They do most of there growing in the 30 to 40 weeks.
Good luck, and have fun!!!!!

There is no definite answer for that one I'm afraid, we're all different, I've known some people start to show at 7 weeks (looking podgy that is) and others not until about 16-20, depends on babe, you, family. If you're not showing yet, make the most of still being able to wear your nice normal clothes before you start having to buy the hideous mat wear that's about at the mo! Good luck.

Advice generally speaking.....The time frame as to when you will begin to show "alot" depends on a multitude of factors. What is your current weight and height? If you are tall and trim as my ex-wife was when she was expecting our son, she was pretty obvious by the 4th month. If you are over weight then when you begin to show it may not be as noticeable...most people will consider it is just an increase in weight due to increased caloric intake. I may be wrong but the real question is the reason you seem to be worried about showing. I don't mean to sound like I am lecturing, but if you are concerned with your safety or the safety of your child because you are pregnant......please take steps to keep you and your child safe and healthy. Good luck.

With my first pregnancy i did not start showing until i was about 6 months but with my pregnancy's after that i was looking pregnant by 10 weeks. It was really embarrassing because people kept saying oh you don't have long to go now then do you, and i would have to tell them i still had six months to go. Anyway, congratulations and all the best x

It depends on ur size. My boyfriends sister in law showed her first month b/c she was like a size 2.
Ive only been pregnant like 2 month total in my life, i say that b/c i lost it. I never showed.
Also, who was it....like Heidi Klume or some model/actress hardly showed at all, even when she was almost 8 months pregnant. Look up the cort case, they broke the contract b/c she was pregnant a month. She won the case when she told juriors she was 8 months pregnant now.

some women don't show at all. I didn't.
I know a girl right now that is 2 months pregnant and her belly is poking out a bit. She is slim but i can't believe she is sticking out already.
Mostly though around 4-5 months is when you start to show

i think about the 20 week mark was when i started showing and i'm fairly slim, admittedly i did hit the chocolate and the ice cream a bit.
I know you're frustration cause u just want the whole world to know, and until u show nobody really notices right?
good luck Kirsty
