What a great and difficult question!
I have lived in different countries (the USA, Bulgaria and China), I have visited plenty (India, Libya, Germany, Italy, Romania, Austria, England, ....)
From those, I would choose the USA, since there I had my own state and could associate with people from common background, as well as from every culture and nation. Also, although the USA, being a superpower, proceeds in solutions, interventions, attacks, etc., against other nations and states, still inside the organization is better than any other!
Of course, I could leave anywhere, and as said for Pericles: For eminent people, grave could be anywhere!

I had to do it long time ago and ended up in Sweden. Nice country, but damn cold and depressing.
I have moved arround many times, to the US, Ireland and now living in south of France in the French Riviera, I like it a lot and hopefully will stay here for a long time.
If I had to choose again, I would go for Canada, it has a good quality of life, it is very welcoming, it has an easy language and you can stablish in the country much easier than many other countries.

Australia (now I live in the U.S.) because they speak the same language, and the climate is similar. I could move to Mexico or Spain, but I'd have to brush up on my Spanish. If I was in a hurry to leave, I'd choose an English-speaking country first.

Italy. Any day that I have to leave India for a prolonged period I would want to be settled in Venice, Italy. The canals and the culture and the very beauty of the place is just what I would like to stay in.

New Zealand, it is rugged and beautiful, has all the different seasons, you're never too far from the ocean, the Maori people have a facinating history, it is known for having very friendly people. I would consider moving there even without a war.

Mexico!!!!! Our lifestyles are alike, communication wouldn't be impossible, and the Mexican people are known for EXCELLENT food! Compare our lifestyles to those of Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, etc. Their culture is way too different from ours. They have a whole different way of life concerning dreams, goals, and VIEWS about things.
