8 years ago my wife cheated on me, after a year of counseling and having a 2 year old at the time I moved back in, 2 years ago she moved out I felt she was falling in love with someone else there was things that I found. After a year of not living together I filed for divorce she will not sign the papers and says she loves me and wants things to work out between us. I tell her that you can't do this and that I fell in love with someone. Now she makes me out to be the cheating husband. What is wrong and right anymore?

Don't fall into her trap, she does not love you, she likes the convenience of you. It probably helps out her ego to have you waiting for her to make up her mind. As for not signing the papers, where I live, after 2 years you can get a divorce without the signature, basically you get one by default, but I am sure that is not the legal term. As for her putting the cheating husband guilt trip on you, that's just so she doesn't have to look in the mirror and face herself for the wrongs she has done. Good luck to you, oh and who cares if what you decide is right or wrong, if it is what you feel is right, then it is right for you.

Check with a lawyer in your area. Even if she contested the divorce it is normally just a month more waiting period. Whatever you do don't take her back. She wants her cake and eat it too. The sad thing is that everyone on here would be saying a lot of crap if the roles were reveresed. Get rid of her and get on with your life. Good luck

Divorce her. I'm sure you can do it without her signature (i think). She threw the marriage away when she cheated on you 8 yrs ago. Karma's a *****, which she's now discovering.

Your situation is beyond repair,so there is no point in finding the answer of what is right or what is wrong, divorce her and start a new life and I hope you will find joy and happiness,
