Earth's interior consists of rock and metal. It is made up of four main layers:
1) the inner core: a solid metal core made up of nickel and iron (1200 km diameter)
2) the outer core: a liquid molten core of nickel and iron
3) the mantle: dense and mostly solid silicate rock
4) the crust: thin silicate rock material

The Earth's core has 2 distinct layers, the inner and outer cores.
The outer core is essentially a rapidly flowing orbit of highly magnetically charged molten solution of various types of heavy and dense metal, suspected to contain a little lead, some nickel and mostly iron.
The inner core is suspected to be a semi-solid ball of superdense materials consisting mostly of the same constitution of metals as in the outer core, except it doesn't move, it is much smaller is volume and much greater in mass.
The effect of these 2 layers of core is that the ball acts like a giant magnet, and the flow acts like a charger, and these 2 working together create and maintain the magnetic field that Earth exists partly because of. The Earth's axis, rotation speed and direction, poles and all other magnetic anomalies and phenomena are as a direct result of this collective action.
No material known to exist is capable of maintaining it's form under the heat and pressure of such an environment, so no physical evidence of the constitution of the Earth's core is citable, so everything we currently know about the Earth's core has been deduced from electromagnetic science experiements using scale models of Earth, and recreating the observable effects to see what materials are required to achieve similar results. therefore, this answer is not definitively accurate, but if you think real hard ... what can you say is absolutely true without doubt, question or subject to interpretation?
Some philosophers believe that the exact centre of all the largest 'bodies' of mass in the universe are the destination for the matter consumed by black holes, which are essential a rip in the space fabric allowing matter to pass from any point to any point instantaneously. This was considered possible by Einstein, Copernicus and Gallileo, to name a few. This was thought to accellerate the supernova effect, and the amount consumed would define the unexplained growth.

A tough, pulpy material with seeds. It is how another Earth grows when this one falls to the ground.
