Since water is taking more time to reach boiling point means potato will also take more time to boil and hence slowly cooked in stead of fast cooking. Which is contradictory to my earlier question.

The potato is cooked by heat and not by the physical process of boiling. Once the water reaches a temperature for cooking to begin, it will start to cook, regardless of whether the water boils.
The salt will not change the cooking time. It may change the time that the cook delays putting the potato in the water, but not the cooking time.
If so, the potato may cook slightly faster because of the higher heat.
By the way, the water inside the potato is not more salty because the water outside the potato has been salted.

Adding of salt increases the boiling point of water to a higher degree, so would mean....that even at 100 degrees celcius, the water will remain in water form and not change to steam and loose the water level or volume.

The potatoes will cook faster as the temperature can be stable without any loss of volume of water.

Increasing the BP doesn't change the temperature of a liquid, it only increases the temperature required for that liquid to turn into gas. Meaning that your potato would still have same volume @ the same high temperature.More liquid means more heat would be able to penetrate the potato skin and cook it, making deliciously relishing.

Take care.

no dude... higher boiling point means longer to reach boiling temperature, but higher temperature would reduce cooking time. So instead of boiling at 100 degrees celsius, it will boil at a higher temp... get it?

only bp of water has increased so as 100>>>>>>>>>to >>>>>102
then there is no much difference and this neglagible difference can not affect the time used

What potatoe flavors? they do no longer flavor like something so what does it is counted if the flavors come out into the water? basically upload greater salt and butter once you mash them and that they are going to be scrumptious.
