Recently I've been having serious problems getting to easy conversations with my 12 and 8 years old daughters. They don't listen to me. Meanwhile my wife doesn't help either. She finds this amazing as well as being an easy way to get even with me, as though she's been raising them to get her revenge. Needless to say she is quite vindictive.

The behavior that you are describing on behalf of your children seems normal. Expect for it to aggravate, as most adolescents are like this due to hormonal changes, confusion and the process of self discovery.

I am by no means advising that you allow or tolerate this sort of behavior. Discipline is an important fundamental that will help your daughters grow up respecting you and your wife.

Your spouse on the other hand, seems to be not asking, but rather begging for attention. You might need to spend more quality time with her, and the girls.

Humans have an awkward way of saying, "I love you, I miss you, I need you and feel ignored by you."

Perhaps you can come home the next day with a written poem for your wife and red roses. As for the girls, allow them to know that they are hurting your feelings, and perhaps this will touch thire hearts.

Best wishes to you and your family.

1st sit down with your family and show them you love them and furthermore do not get angry but make sure you tell them you love them. Now for your daughter do not blame your wife. Your daughter needs assurance or confirmations that you really love them. Show them you love them by giving them a hug and kiss. Take them out for day, play with them and so on. Don't forget girls are at puberty stage soon this can effect them too
