All of you assume its not there.....again assume. You are letting your beliefs and misconceptions dictate your answers. If you are going to make a statement such as "what part of fiction is not clear" then you should back your answers up with some sort of evidence to support your opinions.
As for answering the question.....there is no evidence to support Brown's final resting place for Mary Magadelene under the Louvre. As many others have said, it is a work of fiction. HOWEVER, many of the historical events, people and organizations are accurate. There was an group known as the Knights Templar.....did they go look for treasure in Jerusalem? Probably not, but it is a popular conception many individuals seem to have. As you can see, Brown twists the historical record to his liking....in other words, his twisting of history is what really makes his story. For example, in the movie, Ron Howard took Brown's idea to add words to the Gospel of Phillip, one of the Gnostic Gospels discussed in the movie and book. It doesnt not say that "Jesus often kissed her on her mouth". The last part of this phrase is missing. In fact, there is a hole in the parchment....so know one knows what it actually says.
So, it is highly unlikely that the tomb is there. I do agree with the others when they say that it is a work of fiction so we must look at it as a work of fiction. However, the theories within the book make an interesting research paper or book.

No. It was just a book, and just a movie. Dan Brown (the book's author) has stated definatively that it's a work of fiction.
Even if there really is a tomb it's certainly not lying under the pyramid in the louvre museum. First of all, the Pyramide Inversée (the inversed pyramid, underneath the larger glass pyramid above ground) is actually in a shopping mall, not in the museum at all. Do you really think they would put the tomb in a mall? And do you really think that it could be put there without anyone noticing?
Also, in reality, the stone pyramid under the Pyramide Inversée merely rests on the floor on casters, and is regularly moved when the floor is polished. What's under the Pyramide Inversée in reality? The basement!

Absolutely not. You've been reading The Da Vinci Code or you've watched the film. It is a fiction novel peppered with a few facts (mainly where the art is and bits of symbology) and many many suppositions. It's a great book but don't take it too seriously!
