Its a bit rounder. The panels on the Teamgeist ball makes it the roundest ball ever produced

They don't change the shape...that much..it's just the design. The bring out a new ball for every world cup so that players can capitalise on their curving skills especially when they strike.

yikess!! i'm sure u mean the decoration, not the shape..LOL..
as far as i know, they change it for every world cup..this year's ball, "Teamgeist" by adidas..the keepers dont like the balls very much, it's hard to predict where it's heading,plus it's fast..but most of the striker's like it..coz it's light and fast..well, at least that's what i read in the newspaper..

ADIDAS company says the new ball is made more aerodynamically and it is lighter than the older ones....they say that if u shoot the ball in the right way then it will be a sure goal.......well this world cup is seeing a larger number of goals than the older ones...........
