my friend is stupid, he said the earth is round and den said its because the ships dissapear or somthin`, i was too high to listen to any one. i showed him a map, which is flat, then i told him that the ship dissapears because it fell off the edge of the planet. earth aint round llike theat ball shape planet the rokets go to in the movies. how can i expllen this better.

how old r u? because i remember to have learnt this lesson when i was in first standard. if u r above 6 years old & still do not know whether the earth is round or flat, forget it, it doesn't make any difference to u.if u r less than 6 years old ,well, don't worry your teacher will teach u in a month or two.why don't u also go to the edge of the earth & fall off? try it, you will come to know whether the earth is round or flat for yourself.

allthough origally it was though that the earth was flat and that if a ship went to close to the edge it would fall off,but that was many years ago,it has been proven that the earth is in fact round,aircraft are flying around it every day,a globe is round i sugest you get one and note the north and south poles,and then read how the eart spins on its axis and circules the sun,giving day and night.

@ least one thing prooves it...
you cannot easily walk on round surfaces... the fact that you can walk on earth easily it prooves it to be flat.... or circle with infinite radious!...
