You call this the real world? It can exist here, in hyperspace. Forget the "real" world if it makes you miserable.

You cannot judge the true character of a person just by talking to them online. Verbal and visual communication are the fundamental building blocks for human relationships. Only in the Internet age has the human species evolved into heavy written communication. Think of it this way, even the stalwart solider writing home during the Civil/World Wars had a love he knew well. The hopes that kept him writing were knowing the smile, the smell, and the caress of the woman he loved. Don't do yourself a disservice and squelch your heart strings on someone you cannot touch.. push forward and get to see him.

Put it this way, despite what I say, only your collective hearts can draw together a relationship that works and works on YOUR terms. If you're asking for hope from others.. fear not.. there's a multi-billion dollar industry catering to people such as yourself.

I am skeptical about Internet romance but it seems that couples are beating the odds every day, so why not?
