Yes they do! It's their home turf! Remember 6 home teams have already won the cup, and the possiblity of the Germans winning is plausible. As for the match up against England, the Germans have the edge, first their homecourt advantage, then they have klose and podolski, and they have the coolest ocach in the world, Jurgen Klinsmann.

arhh..i hope germany will play VERY VERY well against ecuador, so that they wont be the runner up in group A, which means playing with england in the final 16..i want to see both of my fav teams in the final, not against each other in the final 16!! omg..!!
however, if i do have to choose, i'd go with germany..sobs..bye bye england..
