Everyone is different, but a general rule would be 3-7 days on the surface, and another 10-14 days below the surface. It is common for a person to return to work the same day. Lips will have some residual swelling and will chap. There may be slight swelling after the eyeliner; brows may look darker than usual ? all of which softens in a few days.

About two to three days after the procedure, the skin renews and peels. Within a week, the area is considered healed and the tattoo is considered affixed. Within a month, the tattoo really shows its true shape and how it would look permanently.

you just have to wait for the swelling in the area that you got your permanent makeup in to go down .

OMG! I had perm eye makeup done in 2000 and my eyes were sore and puffy for about 2 weeks. But I look HOTT now ;o)

Your best bet is to read the package it came in! Or ask a specialist or someone at a local salon who would know what they are talking about!

same as any tattoo..about two weeks since the skin is so thin on the face...it takes longer to heal.
