thorpe park is the bomb... they have the tidal wave..(cant beat it in the summer) they have the detonator... i was so afraid i opened my mouth to shout and nothin came out.... they also have the worlds first ten looping roller coaster and it rocks.... i went there on the day the ride opened with a loada teenagers and we queued for it...lol, it had some startin day hiccupps and we were stuck on the loop for a really long time...lol.... was lucky cos just a few more meteres and we woulda been upside down!!!!! but its a really great ride....

chessington sucks...its for kids....i went a coupla weeks back and most of the adult rides were shut for refurbishment.... only good thing about it was proffesor burps bubbleworks,,,and now apparently thats shut too!!!!

Over the last 3 years, Thorpe park has moved to cater for the more adult crowd.
Chessington now caters for younger thrill seekers, with an excellent zoo ( now expanding).
If you and your mates are looking for top thrills, then thorpe park it should be.
I go to both a few times and year and thrope park rides still scares the goolies off me.
Make sure you are at the gates 30 mins before opening as it is a 10 minute walk to the first ride
They have a new ride for 2006, highest in europe, you can clearly see it from way down the M3 motorway.

Enjoy your day !

THORPE PARK !!. It's as good a Alton Towers, l hadn't been since l was 7 until a few years ago (27 now!) and when l was younger the scariest ride was the The Teacups - OK, they still make me dizzy but hardly like that new american style go and then go down rollercoaster or the other mad rides. Go online to get your tickets - do not buy at the gate as they cost twice as much (£29 at gate, should get for abot £15 online). Try Ebay (people buy tickets then can't make it)
http://www.365tickets.com/prodhubs.cfm/productId/69 a little more expensive but you can print the tickets out at home which is a good idea if you're going this weekend

Do lots of searches on google for cheap tickets. There is a water boat slide ride at the beginning of the park, it looks like it is for kids but it's actually brilliant and very fast if you push yourself hard enough off the top.HAVE FUN!

Chessington has been made really kiddy now - there are only a few rides that are worth going on! My friend takes her 4 year old son there all the time and he goes on most of the rides. I havent been to thorpe park but im sure its better than chessington if youre over 10!

Chessington is the better by far, all theme parks are very expensive but you may be able to get a group ticket. Chessington gets busy depending on which day you go but if you plan your day with an order of which rides to go on and when you should be able to do most of them in a day. Finally, Just have fun!!!

No book online for tickets to Alton towers... way better... all through june it's £18 a ticket... or £99 for a room for 4 persons for the night!

If you've not been, it's usually worth the £25 just to admire all the cars in the car park!!!

I might just go next weekend if it's nice!!!
