I am 27 weeks pregnant today and I been having pain in my belly button when I breathe or sometimes just when ever. Anyhow I am gonna call the dr tomorrow but I just wanted a little idea of what it might be tonight. Please only serious answers.

I've had that too, and I have 6 kids. It can be normal, but it's a good idea to have it checked out. When I was pregnant with my 5th, the pain was kind of like a bad bruise, and my belly button stuck out more than the usual "preggo button." My doctor told me I had an umbilical hernia, probably caused from lifting something too heavy. I consulted with a surgeon who gave me the option of fixing it right away or at the same time as my c-section (I had to have c-sections because one of my kids was breech). I chose to have the surgery at the same time as the c-section, and everything went fine. I was scared to death of the hernia opening again during my 6th pregnancy, but I didn't lift anything too heavy and I had no problems. I'm not having any more kids, I got fixed! LOL But don't worry too much about it. Even if it is a hernia, it can be fixed. Just take good care of yourself and don't be afraid to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.

Belly Button Pain While Pregnant

WHAT IS THE PAIN
Navel pain is from the leftover dried up vessles that were your umbilical cord when you were inside your mum., it dries up and becomes a ligament

WHY
at 27 weeks your abdominal muscles have parted (like curtains) and their is more weight on your skin and ligaments, these ligaments then become sore

WHAT PAIN DO I WORRY ABOUT
~Isolated pain short and fleeting or one off pain is usually not a problem
~Regular wave like pain should be reported
~all over abdominal pain or pain all over the uterus where the baby is is significant
~pain associated with bleeding or reduced baby movements needs to be reported

DONT WORRY BUT DO TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR

Your belly button will turn wrong side out when pregnant. With my first pregnancy that hurt too.

Well due to the fact that you are at this stage it is prob more than likely the fact that the little one has learned how to stick those legs right on mommy's ribs, and intestines. OUCHY OUCHY. Is this your first? Whew girl the fun is just beginning......... wait till they have bout NO room in there and they really want out............ I am not trying to scare you ............. IT IS ALL FUN.......... trust me ........... given the money and time and SANITY..........LOL...........I would have 20 kids............I love it...........Good Luck and hope all is well but if the pain comes and goes............I wouldnt worry to awful much...........plus try not to stress to hard.........you and that baby dont need it. Try the bible of prego's...........what to expect when you're expecting...........LOVE IT. GOOD LUCK GIRL.
