If by chance we are the only life in the universe because of being in the right time at the right place, isn't our responsabiltly to nurture and spread, rather than finding more ways of killing each other over religion. The Muslems pray to a rock, the Christians pray to a mythic. The US to George W or any President or any war.Not once have I seen religion save innocence, but I have seen through-out histroy religion killing thousands upon thousands of innocent people. a queastion we have to asks is this planet our only place that life can exsist, and why is it that we as a specie don't treat the planet as a living organism and eventually it will fight back, killing us like parasites that we are. If a dog has fleas than it scratches, then the same with the planet, it evolves and life is its by-product and noway known do we have the strength or the knowledge to prevent it from scratching

I believe there is life other than on Earth. Even if just mathematically!
An interesting point though, is that the authorities on this field have concluded that the nearest system that COULD support life is Sirius. That's interesting, because throughout history, the more believable tales of alien contact seem to all point to that star system. The Dogon tribe are a classic example of that. They apparently knew of Sirius A and its two companions(Sirius B and Sirius C) long before any 'civilised' society. Sirius C has yet to be discovered, but could well be there! I quote from Wikipedia: "Apparent orbital irregularities in Sirius B have been observed since 1894, suggesting a third very small companion star, but this has never been definitely confirmed."

As to us being Parasites on this Living Planet, I couldn't agree more.

There is other life out there. To truly believe that with that many solar systems and stars and planets out there, that some form of life didn't evolve is being either extremely skeptic or close minded. No, we shouldn't send our tainted species out to other creatures. For all we know, these planets are occupied by creatures that do not care for advancement, but live with the world they were given (like the other species on ours.). And besides, how do we explain to the aliens that our ambassador was late because his wife was late with breakfast so he had to beat her for an hour?

THIS IS A FABULOUS Q! Very inspired by the truth of life observed with individual unindoctrinated therefore intelligent eyes!

Nurturing and spreading are basic "instincts" of a virus, and our race, dear co-virus, is one of a viral nature:kill every cell of life we have no use of.

We have the strength, we have the most important awareness, but we have no true will, because we are human animals swimming in Lethe.

There is a key to escape this misery- redefine our own existence- NATURE IS NOT STH PLANTED HERE BY GOD FOR US TO PLAY IN IT AND ENJOY IN ITS BEATY. Beaty cannot be a measure (it si too individual), intelligence and conscience also cannot be a measure because hierarchy is the most evil thing humans can spred across their environment including not only humans but plants and non-human animals which have their own hierarchy among species.

We cannot start saving nature as heroes because it will make all nonhuman beings our victims, and we will see them as dependant to our will to protect them (which is false).

Nature cannot be protecetd for the sake of our next generations bacause nature isnt sth we are not living in and what can be destroyed, manipulated, and exploited by us.

I believe there are other civilizations, more sophisticated than we are somewhere in the universe or maybe very close to us, observing what they have planted onto planet we call OURS.

to be honest, only time will tell if we are alone in this universe. But I'll say this much about us, we're still a young species and maybe in another race's eyes we are too young to accept first contact just yet. I say this because our world lives with one common thing in mind, "We fear what we can not control or conquer, and what we fear, we destroy" Take for example religions, we fear witch craft and so we seek to remove it or not accept that it is a religion. We as a race purely bent on dominating and conquering everything will strive to conquer the universe unless we grow up and accept the universe is not ours to conquer. I know it's hard to make sense of this but this is my way of saying that when the time comes, "First Contact" will be achieved and welcomed by us and the rest of this realm. Hope that sheds light to your question, if not then I'm sorry if I may have confused you in any way.

That is the most complicated question I have ever heard, and many other people have asked it. I dont think anyone knows for sure whether there is life elsewhere or not. Although some planets have water on them, and have had water on them in the past. Maybe? I have no idea.

of course there is life elsewhere in the universe. with all the billions upon billions of stars out there, some have to have developed life besides this little jerkwater placeway out in the boonies. Just because they haven't contacteed us yet just means they haven'tf igured out time/space travel, or they really don't want to get to know us. Incase you haden't noticed, as a group we are arrogant and quite stupid.

The only way to save our planet would be to all except God, but that wont come true until the Rapture

Sin and Hatred will kill us, not true religion

And yes there is existence elswhere
there are angels, Jesus and God in heaven

I think this universe is so vast that there must be life on other planets. We will probably never know, because of the distance, but I don't think earth is that special. I hope that extraterrestrial life is more intelligent than humankind.

It definitely exists elsewhere because the universe's size is soooooooo large it is beyond human comprehension. Something that big must have more then one location for life to find a way.

I haven't seen religion save innocence either but it isn't religion that is doing the killing. It is the people that are biased about religion and what it's real goal is, that kill in the name of good. Yes, I meant good and not God but they are one-in-the-same.

The Earth will take care of us as long as we take care of it and when it starts messing up it is because we are not doing our part to take care of it and it's creatures, including people.
