No doubt, You can use more than one graphic cards. just you need slots

For agp every motherboard normally have only one slot

so you can use one agp and one or more pci graphic card (you can also use pci cards)

you can even run different program on different monitors
for example you can watch movie on one monitor and do your work on another.

If you are worried about infliction you can go to manufacturers website and see about known problems

You need minimum windows 98 or above all

Are you talking about an ATI All-In-Wonder card? If so then yes, you will need to replace your existing graphics card since the TV tuner and video card are integrated onto one graphics card. This will only take up 1 AGP slot and no need for an extra PCI card if space is a concern.

The other option is if you have a free PCI slot, you can add-in a separate dedicated TV tuner card alongside your existing AGP graphics card. This will probably be cheaper if you already have a decent enough graphics card that you don't want to part with. There are many brands on the market. You can also look into getting a high definition TV card as these are getting reasonably priced nowadays. The advantage of having a separate PCI card is if you ever decide to upgrade your video card, you can keep your existing tuner card which you can't do with an All-In-Wonder.

BTW... You can't add more than one graphics card on your system since it is AGP based. The newer PCs with PCI Express allow for this, but it is mainly to improve 3D game performance and won't do anything for TV. If you want picture-in-picture support or the ability to record and watch at the same time, get a dual tuner card and install Windows XP Media Center Edition.

A PCI TV, Video capture, PVR, FM tuner card is available and won't bother your AGP video card. The AGP slot is controlled by a separate chip from the PCI slots. You AGP video card controls the video GRAPHICS only. The PCI would control FUNCTIONS related to certain audio/video processes.

You can use the current graphic card and install a separate TV card! The manufacturer is not a problem! If the motherboard supports it, there shouldn't be any compatibility issues!

ATI and Nvidia cards sometimes dont like to go together. But I have a 7800 Nvidia card and an ATI TV capture card working together.

just get a nice high end videocard
well preferably a Geforce 6600 GT or higher
then get a Tv Tuner Box
u now have the power of a fulltime videocard, and a tv tuner and since its a box, you can hook up a xbox 360, xbox, PS2, PS, PS3, Game Cube, n64, SuperNintendo, or even a Sega Dreamcast to it (did i cover every gaming console known to man kind that needs a large television to run it??? if i missed any, just imagine it in for me. thanks)
