Easy... fill the cone with some liquid.... then pour this liquid into a measuring cylinder and measure the amount of liquid... you'll get the volume of the cone.

Mathematically it is 1/3 the volume of Cylinder
that is 1/3(pie*r*r*h)

The volume of a cone is 1/3 * area of base * height

So that is 1/3 * pi * r * r * h

The answer is straight forward. Check any Maths book for it, its the same worldwide:
Volume = (1/3) x pi (3.14) x radius of the base x radius of the base x height of the cone (the length from the tip of the cone straight down to the center of the cone).

Take care.

one third of volume of a cylinder is equal to volume of a cone that can be accomodated exactly into the cylinder. The volume of the cylinder is (22/7)*r*r*h, where r=radius of the base, h=hight of the cylinder. Now come to the point. The volume of the cone is (1/3)*(22/7)*r*r*h.

The volume of a cone is 1/3(Area of Base)(height) = 1/3 π r2 h

Depends on the cone you use (are you asking like a ice cream cone or paper. If it's a ice cream cone then you can't use any liquid because it would get soggy. Using paper would be a little more accurate. Using a cup for measure of liquid and of course measuring the weight of the cup.

Only Varun is correct.It is not mentioned whether it is a right circular cone or not.Hope,u get my point.

u use the formula - 1/3X pi X r2 (thts r square)X h
pi= 3.14 or 22/7
r= radius
h=height
